The Holy Spirit inspired, guided, and moved the writers of Holy Scripture to keep the original writings free from error; as a result the Bible is the infallible revelation of God’s truth.
There is one God who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Man was created in the image of God, but through Adam’s sin mankind was alienated from God and from his fellow man; as a result all people are sinners by nature, guilty in God’s sight and totally unable to save themselves.
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who became man, lived a sinless life, died a sacrificial death and rose again to atone for the sins of those who trust Him alone for their salvation. Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man.
The Holy Spirit indwells God’s people, enabling them to trust Christ and giving strength and to live a holy life.
The church is the covenant community of God’s people, in which believers are nurtured through the preaching and teaching of the Bible, and the administration of the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper and the loving administration of church discipline.
Jesus Christ will one day return bodily and visibly to judge all mankind and to receive His people to Himself.
